Improving Your Wildlife Photography Workshops (Intermediate)

This workshop is the next level up from the Beginners Workshops It is suited for those photographers that are comfortable with basic camera techniques and settings.

Whilst the content of the course is largely a continuation of the beginners course structure, additional focus will be emphasised upon:

  1. Light
    • how to make the most of natural lighting and create strong contrast and dramatic images
  2. Camera settings
    • depth of field, perspective and focusing techniques
  3. Action images
    • discover how to work with moving subjects and create stunning action photographs
  4. Field Craft
    • learn how to stalk animals for an effective photograph
    • discuss the safety aspects of wildlife photography including suitable precautions for the photographer and the welfare of the animals

The beauty of photographing wildlife is that it is always changing and evolving, encountering the unexpected. In this environment the photographer must learn to work with these changing environmental conditions and behaviours, and the result cannot always be predicted.
