This workshop is the next level up from the Intermediate Workshops
For this workshop you will need a basic knowledge of aperture, camera lenses, shutter speed and ISO, including exposure modes. If you’re a photography novice, then you may find it helpful to sign up to the beginner workshop first.
The beauty of photographing wildlife is that it is always changing and evolving, encountering the unexpected. In this environment the photographer must learn to work with these changing environmental conditions and behaviours, and the result cannot always be predicted.
In the workshop we will consider, but not limit ourselves to the following:
- What is Creative Wildlife Photography?
- Creative Wildlife Photography Explained
- Creative Use of Shutter Speeds
- Shutter Speeds you need for Wildlife Photography
- How to get a panning shot
- Creative use of Exposure Compensation
- Pushing your Exposure Compensation
- High and low-Key Photography
- How to get a rim lighting effect
- Editing Creative Images
- Editing your creative wildlife images
