This is an indoor photography workshop designed to help you with basic editing and managing your image collection.
The structure of the workshop will go through:
- Lightroom Structure
- Understanding the Lightroom Structure – Catalogues, Folders and Collections.
- How to file your photos in Lightroom – Rating, Flagging, “Best of” Collections and Key wording.
- Importing your images
- Importing photos from your memory card. Step-by-step.
- Your Lightroom Editing Workflow – Getting it right from the start.
- Choosing your “keepers”. Which images are worth saving and which are not?
- Editing & Exporting
- Starting your first edit in Lightroom. The editing techniques you will need to succeed.
- Best practises for changing your images to black & white and when to use this.
- Saving and exporting your edited images.
- File Types
- Understanding image formats: RAW vs JPEG. Which to use and why.
The workshop is planned to last for approximately one to two hours. The cost is £25 per person. At this stage the number of participants is not restricted.
There are opportunities for one-to-one sessions, or small sessions with friends if preferable.
